Cookie Policy

Last updated: setembro 1, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Baby Care Guide uses cookies and similar browser storage. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Our consent model

Optional first-party behavior analytics are disabled until you choose Proceed in the cookie notice. If you continue without analytics, Baby Care Guide does not create its analytics visitor or session identifiers. You can change your choice later through the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer.

2. Cookies used by the Baby Care Guide analytics system

bcg_cookie_consent stores your cookie choice and the version of the notice you accepted or declined. It is used so the site can remember your preference.

bcg_vid is an optional first-party pseudonymous visitor identifier created only after analytics consent. It helps us distinguish repeat visits without storing your name, email address, or raw IP address in the analytics table.

bcg_sid is an optional first-party session identifier. It expires after a period of inactivity and is used to understand a visit as a sequence of page views and interactions.

3. What we measure after consent

Depending on the features you use, the first-party analytics system may record page views, article/category/tag interest signals, internal search terms, scroll depth, active reading time, referral domain, browser/device class, product impressions, product clicks, store filters, and outbound-link domains. This information is used to understand readership, improve navigation and editorial planning, and evaluate which recommendations are useful to visitors.

The tracker is designed not to capture passwords, contact-form field contents, comment text, calculator inputs, payment information, or raw IP addresses. It does not use browser fingerprinting.

4. Retention

First-party behavior events are automatically deleted after approximately 180 days, unless the site operator selects a shorter retention period in the WordPress administration panel.

5. Essential and interaction cookies

Some site features can use limited cookies that are necessary to remember an action you requested, such as preventing duplicate likes or remembering an explicit preference. These are separate from optional behavior analytics.

6. Third-party services

Advertising networks, affiliate merchants, web-push providers, embedded media, or other services enabled on the site may operate under their own privacy and cookie terms. The Baby Care Guide first-party analytics consent described above does not by itself change the independent settings of those third-party services.

7. Changing your choice

Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer to reopen the notice. Choosing to continue without analytics removes the Baby Care Guide analytics visitor and session cookies from this browser. You may also clear cookies through your browser settings.
